Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Corks + Forks Catering. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern all catering orders, event details, payments, and services provided by Corks + Forks Catering.
1. Services Offered
Corks + Forks Catering provides full-service and drop-off catering for private events, corporate functions, yacht charters, and special events. Our services may include food and beverage preparation, delivery, staffing, rentals, and related event logistics.
2. Booking & Event Confirmation
All event bookings are considered confirmed once a signed proposal or written approval is received and the required deposit is paid. By confirming, the client agrees that all event details, including date, time, guest count, menu, location, services, rentals, and pricing, are accurate.
3. Deposits & Payments
All payment amounts, due dates, deposit requirements, and applicable fees are outlined in your event proposal or invoice. Orders are not considered confirmed until the stated deposit is received. Final payment must be made according to the terms specified in your proposal.

Sales tax is charged in accordance with local regulations unless a valid tax exemption certificate is provided.
4. Guest Count & Final Details
Guest counts and all final event details must be confirmed by the deadline noted in your proposal. Increases may be accepted if possible. Reductions may not be allowed after the confirmation deadline. Final charges will reflect either the confirmed guest count or actual attendance, whichever is greater. Additional charges may apply for exceeding the confirmed guest count, particularly for bar or staffing services.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Cancellations:
All deposits are non-refundable. Cancellation policies, including eligibility for refunds of any amounts beyond the deposit and applicable fees, are outlined in your event proposal or invoice. Corks + Forks Catering reserves the right to retain part or all of the payment in accordance with those terms.
Rescheduling:
• If you wish to reschedule your event, please notify Corks + Forks Catering as soon as possible.
• Rescheduling requests made 14 or more days before the event may allow the deposit to be transferred to a new date within 12 months, subject to availability.
• Rescheduling within 7 days of the event may result in a portion of the deposit being forfeited, with the remainder applicable toward a future booking within 12 months, subject to availability.
• All rescheduled dates are subject to Corks + Forks Catering’s availability and approval.
6. Event Timing & Overtime
Event timing is based on the service window agreed to in your proposal. Additional time required for staffing, service, or setup/breakdown beyond the agreed timeframe may result in additional charges as outlined in your proposal.
7. Delivery & Setup Timing
Our team will arrive prior to your event at the time stated in your proposal. Delivery-only orders will be scheduled accordingly. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure access to the venue during the scheduled setup window.
8. Gratuity
Gratuity is not included unless specifically stated and is at the host's discretion. You may tip in cash at the event or add gratuity to your final payment via check, Zelle, or credit card.
9. Dietary Restrictions & Food Safety
We prepare our food using fresh, local, and organic ingredients whenever possible. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary requirements in advance. While we strive to accommodate dietary needs, Corks + Forks Catering is not liable for allergic reactions unless caused by negligence.
10. Rentals & Client Responsibility
If Corks + Forks coordinates rentals on your behalf (tables, chairs, linens, glassware, equipment, etc.), you are responsible for their care and safe return. While a basic damage waiver is included and covers normal wear and minor, unintentional damage during standard use, it does not cover:
• Lost or missing items
• Damage due to misuse, negligence, or improper handling
• Theft or items left unsecured after the event
• Excessive or intentional damage
You will be billed for the full replacement or repair cost of any item not covered by the waiver. If you have questions about specific rental responsibilities or coverage, please contact your event coordinator in advance.
11. Liability & Force Majeure
Corks + Forks is not responsible for failure to perform due to causes beyond our control, including severe weather, power outages, venue access restrictions, transportation delays, acts of God, or actions of the client or guests. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to fulfill the event but reserve the right to modify services as necessary.
12. Permits & Venue Requirements
The client is responsible for ensuring all necessary permits and approvals are obtained, and that the venue allows for access, setup, and service during agreed-upon times unless otherwise arranged in writing.
13. Photographs & Marketing Use
We may take photographs of food and event setups for marketing purposes. Unless you notify us in writing, you grant Corks + Forks permission to use such images on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
14. Website Use & Content
By using our website, you agree not to misuse it for fraudulent purposes or to disrupt service. All content, including text, images, and design, is the property of Corks + Forks Catering and may not be copied or used without written permission.
15. Privacy
We respect your privacy. Information collected through our website or communications is used solely for fulfilling your event and will not be shared or sold. Please see our Privacy Policy for details.
15. Changes to Terms
Corks + Forks Catering reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted to this page and will be effective immediately upon publication. Continued use of our services or website after changes are posted constitutes your agreement to the revised Terms & Conditions.
